Good post weekend morning to you! How was it? Did you all have fabulous weekends? I am so certain that you did. I am so happy to report that we made some major progress on the packing this weekend and have only a few more things to get done before the big move. Sigh (sighing in relief). So while we were packing, arranging, rearranging, purging and organizing this weekend, I realized something. Something important. I hate our kitchen table chairs. They. Gotta. Go. You know why, lovers? Because they match our table. That's why. Once we move, the table is getting a major makeover, which I cannot WAIT to share with you all (since I have been lazy, I mean sparse on DIY's lately), and the chairs are getting the boot. Harsh? Maybe. But I have decided we need to flip the script and some fun, funky and colorful bistro chairs are just what the doctor ordered. I love doctors that prescribe chairs as medicine. Don't you???
Bistro chairs are these amazingly fun, classic, Parisian styled, rattan seating that offer so much detail and diversity to any space. Really. I am so over the matchy, matchy look of our dining room set. No offense but it feels lame and unimaginative. Bistro chairs can bring color, pattern and texture to any monochromatic space. I love that the seating is casual enough for everyday and can withstand the day to day wear and tear (torture) that it will endure. Let's seriously take a seat.
The rainbow coalition of Parisian bistro chairs. While this is not an example of the chairs at work in an actual home, I do not really care. I love the image too much not to share.
Ok. This kitchen. This kitchen right here. Slays me. This is exactly what I want. The white and black rattan bistro chair in an oh so fabulous space. Are you all as obsessed with the white background and semi Spanish detailing in this kitchen? I am dying. Right now.
Another lovely kitchen, another lovely bistro chair. A bistro chair barstool?!?! Get out. Again, the pattern in the chairs add so much texture to the kitchen. The make it. Oh and so does the tile. And light fixtures. I guess!
Would you look at the floor to ceiling windows?!??! Lawwwwwd. Loving that. And again, those damn bistro chairs. I told you lovers they were perfection. Classic. Stella and Billie are lovin' that dog. Boy crazy. At least they think it's a boy.
On to the colorful world of rattan bistro chairs. Did I tell you they come in colors? Because they do. Exhibit A. Such a lovely space made even lovelier adorned with turquoise bistro chairs. Loves it.
Yes. Your happiness does reflect through your use of color and pattern. I can relate here. I love unique, fun, colorful and funky things for my home. These chairs fit directly into that criteria. Loving the right. Loving the left. They are even perfect in an office. Is there anything these chairs can't accomplish? Maybe they could balance the deficit? I'd vote for 'em.

Hello lover. Rattan backless stools and rattan chairs in the kitchen nook. I adore everything this kitchen has to offer. Modern conveniences with splashes of old world charm.
A fabulous little dining area with those fabulous patterned chairs. Again. It looks fantastic with a marble pedestal table, as well. Loving that green patterned runner here. Completely unrelated. But I do. The heart wants, what the heart wants.

For a lovely little outdoor soiree. What better addition than a bistro chair? It provides for the perfect pattern to an outdoor space.
Seen enough? Let's get the look. I so know you want to.

I am a sucker for French bistro chairs. Sika Design, the company that makes the rattan chairs for Serena & Lily, also makes one of my personal favorites with a rattan open back - http://www.sika-design.us/collections/affaire/products/monique-outdoor-rattan-arm-chair
