Framebridge

So I had some amazing unframed art just slumming around my house and I felt that it was time to partner with Framebridge to fix that problem. If you haven't been acquainted with Framebridge, shame on you. Framebridge is a custom frame shop where you can send in your own art, or you can even have printed from your very own instagram account. They include typical frame shop quality upsell items—UV-protective glazing, acid-free materials and matting—in the base price. Packaging for your art to be shipped is provided and an easy way to upload digital files. And, wait for it, all shipping is free. Would I lie to you??

So as I said, I had to implement in my own home. I had a custom piece lying around from MFAMB and I decided it would only be properly adorned in the Jambi Frame. Voila. Custom art in the house.

Use code "frame15" to get 15% off of ALL of your orders for a week. Definitely try it out. Cannot believe the ease of use from selection of frame to delivery. I have found my new go to custom framer!

Getting Stately with Lulu and Georgia!

Coming at you from Richmond, VA my peoples. It has been a hot minute since I have been back in this lovely town, but the girl is back, yo. I swear. I am here, there and everywhere lately. It is only so appropriate that I would be talking states with y'all. Much to my delight, my ladies over at Lulu & Georgia started carrying the beloved state pillow. The confusing part is that I have resided in like 10 different states in the last 5 years so I mean what is a girl to choose? My place of origin, that's what. Mizzou-rah. The good ol' Midwest.

I mean aren't y'all dying for one? Thought so. Just enter promo code: HOMEISWHERETHEHEARTIS20 to receive 20% off of a state, international, region, or city pillow. Booyah.

My other gal pals over at Style Me Swanky, Deep in the Hart, Ascot Friday, Shop Sweet Things and My Style Vita are getting all stately as well and you need to check it out.

Season in a Trunk

Ladies, ladies, ladies. What is up? How are we? How was our weekend? What did we do? I was super productive, impulsive (repainted my kitchen on a whim), got my hair did and spent time with my loves. Oh and I also broke my thumb. Seriously. Guys. So much for me being Sporty Spice. I tried to reenact a move that I do at my gym and inserted a kettleball in place of a medicine ball. You guys. Let's put it this way, I totally ate it. Now I am coming at you with 9 working digits. Moral of the story, thumb is sca-rewed. Let us pray.

Sooooo getting down to the biz. Since we are now full fledged into the fall season, it is only natural we get our fall decor asses in gear. Cha feel? Thank you baby Jebus for Season in a Trunk and their festive Season in a Trunk. So appropriately named. I decide to throw a fall brunch and the decor is pretty much ready to roll. How about a throw, some fall inspired pillows and a few nature themed knick knacks and we have a fall tablescape. So, do we Season in a Trunk? Yes. Yes we do.

When entertaining outdoors in the fall, be sure to have some light throws to keep your guests warm and cozy. I mean we can leave the warmth up to the hotty toddy being served up, but it is always better to be safe than sorry, y'all. Just call me emergency prepared.

Fall Sunday brunch should be part of every religion.
So, it comes in the mail to you like this.
And is styled like that.
If you are seasonally lazy like moi, get yourself the seasonally festive decor in a box. It is style for dummies, y'all. Loves. It. And. You. Mean it. XOXO

Monday Musings: I lika the lacquer

Good morning my sweets! How are we this fine morning?? I managed to oversleep through my workout class this morning. Massive fail. I have to tell you, I spent all of yesterday doing very grown up things, you would be oh so proud. I pulled weeds and seasoned my yard/landscaping for the winter that is upon us. After that, my dad so kindly volunteered to install my new dishwasher, which I have been anticipating for 4 months at a minimum. So that project turned into a 7 hour tour which was not short of leaking water and self inflicted electrocution. Needless to say, I don't have a dishwasher right now. But hey, these are the joys of home ownership. KC peeps, if you have a good plumber/handyman, holler at your gurl.

Ok. So let's get down to the biz, shall we? In working in my kitchen for hours upon hours yesterday, I had an epiphany. I hate the color. I always had planned on changing it, but honestly have procrastinated on that room like a mother. So I started thinking, what if I did straight up navy/marine blue lacquer walls. I mean, what a statement?? Only problem is, my walls would need major resurfacing to mask the current imperfections. Waaaahhh wahhhhh. So while I am still doing the navy/marine walls (more on that soon), the lacquer is going to have to wait. Since I cannot implement my love for the lacquer walls in my home, we are going to day dream about others. It is chic, it is regal and some day, they will be mine.
