monday musings: white on white on white

Hot child in the city, is all I can say. Did everyone have a cool and relaxing weekend? I know the answer to that question. Cool? Not so much. I spent Saturday running around to hot spots in the city to collect awesome local pieces for a piece I am working on for an amazing Richmond publication. I cannot wait to share it all with you! The rest of my weekend was split between working and a shameful marathon of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Why did they have to put the entire series on Netflix? Why? I will tell you this. When the boy left Sunday morning I was in the beginning stages of the series and when he returned last night I was on episode 37. He gasped. But to my credit, I did skip a few seasons. Shame.

Today I am jonesing over all white spaces. Why you ask? Because they have a cool aesthetic. Literally. These rooms scream well functioning air conditioner. That right there illustrates my desperation for a cold front. When things are no longer about style and become about comfort. No I am not going to start sporting Grasshopper shoes for comfort and a fanny pack for convenience, don't worry. I will bounce back. Let's cool off with some white hot spaces.

Gorgy no? Just an update on Stella's "condition", the cone has been removed and she is on the road to recovery. Thank you jeebus. Busy week. No shock there. Did you all have a fabulous weekend? Share the goods with me. Loves!

  7. First of all, love your new header and blog look- she is just gorgey! All these white spaces make me happy. An all white room is a dream of mine but sadly with a sticky finger two year old and a beast of a boxer an all white room is not in my near future:( Heck I would even be happy with a white couch!

  12. The white on white! It really allows the eye to focus on specific, showstopping pieces, like that feather art!
