recent finds and buys

First, let me preface this post by saying, excuse the randomness. Please. My thoughts and visions are scattered, like woah. This is going to serve as a phone and neurological dump. You feel me? My house is, what the infamous Gordon Ramsay would say, "a disaster zone." I swear I am in the process of purging, but apparently I am also in the state of bingeing. In no particular order, here are some items that I have picked up along the way, as of late.

Ahhhhh! Love at first site with this baby. If any of you follow via Facebook or Twitter, you more than likely have seen this beaut. The lovely and talented Erin at Richmond Thrifter gave this tired piece a new life. I could not be more obsessed and cannot wait to get my greedy little hands on it.
This picture does not do this piece justice. Trust. Picked this up along the way at Kirkland's on super sale for $75.00. This baby is going to reside in my new office. Something just was lacking here....nothing a little black glossy paint couldn't remedy.
Turned into this. Not a drastic change however I think the black lacquer legs suit the piece. Shocker. Girls, lacquer makes everything better. Rule of thumb. Bam!
Who remembers this old gal? Well she is getting a facelift courtesy of my wonderful parents. Happy early Birthday to me. She has had temporary facials by way of upholstery nails, but now, we are going with the permanent facelift. It is just what the doctor ordered. When our awesome upholsterer came and picked this baby up, I am embarrassed to say what was found under her carriage. A plethora of Stella and Billie's bones and also a few dust bunnies. Maid's day off.
Please excuse the iPhone pictures. To complete this facelift, we are going with the geometric pattern as the base of the chair and ottoman, and the emerald green will be utilized for the piping on both the oversized chair and ottoman. She is going to feel so good once she gets her glamour girl makeover. Love the contrast. Loving the contrast.
Picked up this bowl on a recent T.J. Maxx field trip. I am such a Maxinista. Cannot wait to see her in her new home. Again, I am open for business and taking clients if any of you need a professional photographer. Totally profesh imagery here, folks. I digress. I am thinking centerpiece for the dining room table.
Annnnnndddd in somewhat related news, I am getting a few pieces of art for the new joint. Love the color scheme and whimsy that this will bring to the space.
This has LOOOONNNNNGGG been a favorite piece of mine. I think she will live in my office.
This piece is too glamorous to not share with the entire house, so, I guess she can be in the common area. I guess.
Thanks for journeying with my complete randomness and horrific photography skills. What have you all found and bought lately? Share loves! Don't hoard all of the good deals like you normally do. Did anyone find me a brass dome light?!?! Please say yes so I can discontinue my excessive whining and complaining.
