The final, final plan for the master and everything else in between

So remember my agonizing dilemma I was having about the design of our master bedroom? I couldn't decide on making or buying a headboard. The shape it would possibly be. Tufted or nailhead? Color? You name it, I was clueless. Well my friends, I am happy to say a decision HAS been made and is in the process of execution. I decided that we needed a semi-monochromatic space that was heavy on both mixed metals and luxury. Here is me practicing what I preach with the mixture of all metals.  I present to you the final, final plans for our master bedroom.
Black Lacquer Accent Table/Bust/Chandy/Lamps/Moroccan Wedding Blanket/Bedding/Quadrille pillows/Gold Grasscloth Pillows/Rug

I am so excited for the reveal on this one, loves. I have to tell you, the artwork showcased in this design board is the inspiration that will be used to make the abstract pieces by my super talented Richmond BF, Julia. Julia fashions her own art pieces and I frankly think she's brill. Love her. You will also notice the headboard in the board. This is our actual headboard that we had made using Waverly's Glitz fabric in a diamond tufted formation. This headboard is my boo.

In other breaking news, more gingers added to my collection from my fabulously adorable friend Erin's booth at Class and Trash. I keep telling her she needs to give me first dibs on all things she finds. Let's face it, it will save me a 20 minute drive and a fight with another patron over some gingers. I will choke a you know what for some gingers.
Another find from Erin's booth. My gilded sconces for the bedroom. Girl is on fire. I shall call her Katniss. Don't worry, Erin is way cuter.
My newest art in the living room. Again, you all spoke and I listened. I asked for your help here for suggestions on art for the space, and I made it happen. Now all we need are major pillows and some frilly duponi silk window treatments.
Flowers from the boy this week. Peonies. My absolute fave just like him. Foo dog says so too.  Also of note, my awesome library key chain. Nerd alert.
So that is what is up here today. I have to tell you love muffins, I have quite the treat in store for you this morning. Huge. Huge. Let's just say, one of you might win your very own vignette. Wait for it!

  1. I love you and your board! Seriously, I think after Sunday we'll have Erin convinced that we are her go to for all finds. Forget the booth. I can't wait to get started on your pieces. All that metallic has me swooning! And I seriously can't believe you scored those sconces. I was at such a disadvantage in my double stroller. Next time I will find victory.

  3. I love the chandy, but when i checked it out via the link, dimensions are only 10" wide by 10.5" tall. Thats seems small to me for a room size fixture??

    1. I actually couldn't find the original link. Mine is larger but it still is a very small space. It is meant to be a flushmount. Thank you for your concern though!

  11. Okay I need to get my rear to Class & Trash. It used to be way more trash than class so I suppose a visit is in my near future. I'll even leave the stroller at home and the baby with dad so Mama can shop!
