I feel like the finishing touch to any space is the art. And frankly, that is a whole lot of pressure. Art adds so much personality, color and style to a space. It can be the first and last thing you are drawn to. See the pressure I am talking about? In virtually any space that I design, I save the art for last. How about building a room around the art? There is an idea. I personally am very drawn to abstracts because I think they add a certain level of dimension and color to a room. Not to mention, they make you wonder. And being the non-art connoisseur that I am, I always wonder if I am not getting what the artist is throwing down? Such as a painting with 3 lines has some mysterious purpose and meaning. Boorrrring. I like what I like. Here is some art that I like and I am quite certain you will too.
