The Perfect Persian Rug

The unthinkable happened the other day. So, I have decided to act as a beautician and dye my own hair. This is nothing new really, but it is now the norm. Just get it out of your mind. I am not cruising down the aisle at CVS grabbing the box of hair color with a picture of the girl sitting in a hay field with glistening tresses. No. I actually mix my own color and apply like a banshee. So much, that I got dye all over my hallway runner. Waaa waaaaa. I know you were all wondering when and how this rant was going to arrive on rugs. Well here it is. I bought a new runner for the hallway. Isn't she beautimous?
I can't ever get enough of Persian rugs. Never. So much I am passing all of my favorites along. The best part? 50% off of your order at eSale Rugs. That is so absurd that you do not even have to ruin your existing rug with untreatable chemicals to justify this purchase. I am such an enabler.

  5. Are you going to make something out of the remnants of your old rug? Pillows, bench covers, etc? Let's talk.

    1. Hahahaha! Let's get it straight. I wasn't! I was in the bathroom, the door was open and I got carried away. The dye started flying and went on to the carpet in the hallway! Hence, the new rug.

  17. Placing a rug in any area of your home could give it an instant makeover, thus I totally get your obsession with Persian rugs. A dull looking hallway would instantly turn artistic and luxurious when you add the right kind of oriental rug on it. I would love to see your Persian rug collection, Lindsay!

  18. To think that those lovely carpets were offered for half their price. That's amazing! And you can never go wrong with Persian rugs. They can simply make a room look cozy, even without trying to put too much effort in redecorating. Thanks for sharing!
