What's been up...

So. What I should really include in this post is the mound of Kleenex that occupies my bed side table, but today, I will spare you of those gory details. In the midst of my hectic schedule and maintaining my  patient zero title, I have actually gotten a few things done around the house. And by few, I mean like one. Don't judge! So here is what is been going on around our household.

New fabulous greek key bolsters from none other than Furbish. These navy and lime green adorned bolsters could not fit in better in this space if they tried. I am so impressed with the make and quality of these bad boys and thankfully, our girls have left them alone. They know what is good for 'em.
A simple DIY I need to share with you all. Simple for an oh so custom look. I took 2 drapery panels from Target, I believe they were in the Clearance aisle. Maybe a $4.99 price point or so. I am talking cheap. Then I ordered 8 yards of this Greek Key Trim. We all know I am sewing inept, so of course fabric glue happened. Measure your pieces out, then secure with fabric glue. Taaaaa daaaaaa. That is a DIY patient zero can handle.
Our newest addition to our bar family. Low ball glasses from Zara. I was going to let you in on the links for these, however ours are both sold out. No lie. But have no fear, there are tons of other super affordable and chic glasses to choose from.
My newest addition to my accessory collection. This fab acrylic monogram (yes) necklace. It is totally meant to be stacked, wined and dined. And for $29.00, I am thinking back to get a few more in other colors. Gluttonous? Maybe. But I neeeeeeed them. I already snagged two for my little sisters.

So there you have it. That is what is happening around here lately. I know a lot of you have inquired about the fig infused vodka. Well, well, well I am here to tell you that it was a great success. A drink recipe is to follow tomorrow my little grasshoppers. Loves!

  8. You have been totally busy. The glasses are my personal favorite. Using glue on the drapes was super smart. Who touches drapes?

  9. Lindsay, I'm so impressed. When I'm sick I'm like that 'Pam, can you call my mom?' guy on the commercial. No joke. I am in LOVE with your new glasses. I bought myself a bar cat at an antique market this summer, but have yet to style it up. Wish I had those!

  10. Fabulous trim! I've been wanting to trim-out my drapes but alas, I'm also sewing inept. What type of fabric glue did you use?
