Monday Musings: Fringe Benefits

What up girls? Did you all have a wondrous weekend? I know. We were all chomping at the bit for Monday to arrive so we could be reunited. Feeling is more than mutual. Today I am getting down with something very near and dear to my heart. That's right. You guessed it. Fringe. This girl has been digging it on clothes for sometime now but now it is time to take it to decor. There is something so classic and traditional.  about the adornment yet it brings a certain level of funk to a space. I couldn't describe it if I tried. Maybe Granny Chic? Just you wait and see. You know I love an example. So listen up class.

Are you all as smitten as I am? I mean who can resist this flair? I can tell you one thing, Stella can get down with some fringe. In her older age she has learned to coexist with the fringe and not kill its vibe. That Stella. Love you. Mean it. XOXO

  3. Loving fringe too! I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate it in our home. I'm thinking a bedskirt is in order. IF the dog won't eat it.

  5. Long fringe like in your examples is a great solution when you need to change a leg height on a an upholstered piece but can't fix the upholstery ... fringe across the bottom conceals all manners of sins. Can anyone say sofa legs chewed on / ruined by most loved 4 legged friend? I can! In that case I really luved my fringe :) Also fringe like that could "save" many consigned pieces, just saying.
