Sunning and Funning

Can we chat about the make believe vacation I am playing out in my head? I feel like ever since I moved to Kansas City, all I have done is bitch about the weather. That is how you know you are a local (and lame one) in this city when your entire topics of conversation revolve around the past, current and future weather forecasts. So in effort to be delusional about what is happening right this very moment in the jetstream, I am going to pretend I am somewhere oh so tropical sunning and funning. This is totally my packing list in no particular order or groupings. I just know all of this needs to make its way to me.

    I live in SoCal and though theoretically we shouldn't complain about weather, we've been jumping between 60 and 80 degrees from day to day here lately. Very confusing when it comes to getting dressed each morning...

    I'm ready for some shorts...

    I grew up in Kansas City and I feel you on that weather! Cold and rainy one day and 90 degrees with inhumane humidity the next. Whew!
