An eclectic and serene retreat

In typical Friday fashion, I am going to keep it short, sweet and to the point. Can we have a moment of silence to honor the fact that it is in fact Friday? How about also the fact that it is going to be in the 70's today? Hallelujah. This means, you will probably not hear me complain about the weather anymore...that is, until it is blazing saddles outside. We have about a 1.5 month window here, people. Enjoy it.

I wanted to share a recent design project that I am working on for a client. She and her husband live in this fabulous home that happened to need some minor design assistance in the boudoir. I wanted to keep the palette calm and cool (so appropriate for a master suite) with some pops of color and pattern. The room is semi small in size, so the major goal was to maximize the utility of the space. One way to do this is to add a desk and chair area. It is interesting, useful and I will be damned if one doesn't love a red chair. Luckily for me, they do.

So there you have it. She is working away at finishing this all off. I cannot wait to show you the end result. What are you all getting into this weekend? Are you planning on behaving yourselves? I wouldn't expect so. Love you dolls. Mean it. XOXO
